Module 1: Valuing Each Child and FamilyParent Involvement Results |
In a perfect world, each child care program would hold after hours family programs and events often and would have a large turnout for the events. A child care center or school would also have strong family support and a plethora of volunteers and helpers.
Child care programs should consider family involvement to be an important and critical component to their center. It is important to make parents feel welcome and comfortable at your center whenever possible.
Consider your answers to the questions on the previous page combined with the knowledge in this module. Is there room for improvement at your center? How might you go about improving this?
